no, it will sell EXTREMELY good because it's incredible. BenV's impressions are awesome, and everything I've seen says this game is going to rock.

Gamekult says it will have a hard time standing out from WoW and Guild Wars 2? Seriously? Those are completely different kinds of games. And that's after saying that they think the FPS is repetitive?

Both of those people sound like they just don't like FPS to begin with, or are desperate to criticize. In particular the comparison to Titanfall is silly, as Destiny will have easily hundreds of times the content that TF does.

Comeon on man..if it makes you feel better, the second iteration will probably be on PC. 

I also wanted to bring up another point. Activision investing so much money into a franchise isn't stupid. Same logic can be applied to the release of a new console, or with the release of the Tomb Raider reboot and Sleeping Dogs. They take initial losses to recuperate them overtime. Will Activision profit from this game alone? Maybe. Will it make up for it in subsequent sequels and DLC? Most definitely.

Literally no one cares about this game unless it is brought up for fear of failing. Case and point, look at any thread for Destiny here. I think it's going to sell pretty abysmally unless they drop that game in a dry spell when no other AAA game is being released or near release.

Nah, this game is going to be massive.

I know a few people who are waiting for the Destiny bundle before they pick up a PS4. This game is going to move a lot of hardware as well.
