Forums - Nintendo - 2015's Wii U lineup is already insanely amazing

So not even half way through 2014 and we already have all these titles more or less confirmed for Wii U in 2015:

Zelda U

Mario Maker

Star Fox U

Splatoon

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Yoshi's Wooly World

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Project Guard and Giant Robot (maybe)

Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem

Devil's Third

The diversity is awesome, and we even have some new Nintendo IPs (finally) and a little 3rd p support! All we need is a Metroid Wii U game and a proper 3D Mario and it will pretty much be the most perfect year ever for a Nintendo fan. And who knows since there's obviously some big games still unannounced we'll likely get in 2015. I wouldn't rule maybe getting one of those two out for a 2015 release as well.

hmmm...Its looking decent from here, but I don't trust Ninty with development cycles anymore, the HD era is definitely more then their teams anticpated.

Based on reports Fox and Giant Robot are looking 2016. Star Fox was just a tech demo same with the robot game.
Devil's Third looks horrible in my opinion.
Splatoon should be fun but I hate the artstyle and character design.

My most anticipated titles are Zelda, Yoshi and X. Hopefully more gets announced that appeals to me, cos I'm getting a Wii U this fall.

Last I heard, Itagaki had said Devil's Third was a 2014 title, and honestly, Wii U needs it to be a 2014 title.

Ha ha, then there's no way that it's going to get polished up from its current state.
