Forums - Nintendo - 2015's Wii U lineup is already insanely amazing

So not even half way through 2014 and we already have all these titles more or less confirmed for Wii U in 2015:

Zelda U

Mario Maker

Star Fox U

Splatoon

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Yoshi's Wooly World

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Project Guard and Giant Robot (maybe)

Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem

Devil's Third

The diversity is awesome, and we even have some new Nintendo IPs (finally) and a little 3rd p support! All we need is a Metroid Wii U game and a proper 3D Mario and it will pretty much be the most perfect year ever for a Nintendo fan. And who knows since there's obviously some big games still unannounced we'll likely get in 2015. I wouldn't rule maybe getting one of those two out for a 2015 release as well.

Remember when the Wii U's 2014 line up was amazing last E3? Yeah, remember that feeling.

It is amazing the problem is still the same for WiiU, you cant realy own just a WiiU or you wont play 3rd parties. I love my WiiU, am anxiously waiting for more info on the new Zelda but Id be extremelly sad that I wouldnt be playing most of the great 3rd partys games comming this year and the next if I also didnt own a PS4.

First Party Nintendo owns bring it, theyve been lacking severelly on the 3rd party department tough (and this yearsE3 didnt do much to help)

You forgot Captain Toad! No can forget theirs captains!

Besides Captain Falcon....

Never mind its out in 2014

Zelda looks awesome, but we'll see. There are too many unclear variables for me to make a prediction at this point, like Amiibo. I hope they can sustain the MK momentum going forward from E3. They haven't even announced everything yet!

Yep.

I think at this point if you're buying a Nintendo console you're accepting the fact that third party support will be limited. Honestly, this has been the case since arguably way back to the N64 (to a lesser extent), or the GCN for sure. I don't understand why it keeps getting made a big deal of. You buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games, plain and simple. Even the casual buyers that flocked to Wii bought it for the Nintendo games (Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Play, Mario Kart Wii). Why are we still dwelling on it? Let's accept that that's how it is for a Nintendo console and move on so we can look at how awesome the first party lineup is currently looking.

That's a 2014 game though. I was strictly talking about the 2015 lineup. 2014 is still arguably a bit weak. All we really have for this year are Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta, Smash Bros, and Captain Toad. Though I do think those will all be awesome games (well except maybe Hyrule Warriors).

the problem is,this makes WiiU a console for Nintendo only gamers or peeople who buy more than one console. The typical one console gamer will go to PS4/Xone/PC.

imo WiiU will be like N64/gamecube,a console with some amazing gems but few people have.

This reminds me... We didn't get grass cutting simulators in Zelda until A Link to Past!

This is nothing like the original open world in LOZ for NES!

Anouma has lied again!
