Seriously!? It's been a year an a half and we know more about Project Guard than that thing. No screenshots. No name. Nothing.

It hauled ass all the way to 2015 e3 (Potencially with Metroid U, Starfox, F-Zero and Mother U)

I have a feeling it may be moved to 3DS or the 3DS successor. I think Fire Emblem did bigger numbers on 3DS than Nintendo was expecting and handheld is probably the best place for this type of idea to garner good sales.
Give me Fatal Frame U and we're all good Nintendo.
I think some projects are being quietly moved to future hardware iterations to make sure they have a very strong launch -- Mario Galaxy 3, Animal Crossing Next, Fire Emblem x SMT (?) .... but Nintendo is making sure Wii U owners are getting their money's worth by subbing in some good fan service titles and new ideas like Splatoon, Mario Maker, Captain Toad, Star Fox U, Devil's Third, etc.
So I think Nintendo is living up to their promise of making Wii U owners happy while keeping the company's longer term interests in mind at the same time.
Get the feeling it must have been a super early concept that had only just been started when it was announced so it wont come out for a while. Probably for the best too as it'll need a reasonable install base to sell even a moderate ammount.

E3 2015. I would love to hear about it sooner, but I honestly don't think a game like that would be revealed anywhere other than E3. When it was announced in January 2013, Iwata had probably LITERALLY just made the deal like the day before. So, now it's a year and a half into development, and will appear at E3 2015 and then launch (likely) in Spring 2016. I did wonder the same thing though, and I would LOVE to be wrong. After Fire Emblem: Awakening I'm incredibly interested in seeing what this game will be like!
Upcoming Games To Get
Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)
Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)
Perhaps it made friends with The Last Guardian.

I will be fucking pissed if SMT x FE doesn't come out on Wii U by the end next year. They wouldn't be keeping any promise.
Imagine Nintendo's hybrid platform with a launch window of Mario Galaxy 3, Animal Crossing Next, Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei, and Retro's next game shortly afterwards. '
Win/win for everyone.
Wii U has plenty of content for 2015 anyway ... 2016 they can throw in a Metroid, I think they'll have an admirable job of supporting the system considering its sales.
I was thinking the same thing, i can't believe we got nothing on that, and its my 2nd most anticipated game behind smash. sigh oh well...might as well chalk it up for a 2015 release, cuz no way its coming this year.

I'm not so sure it exists!
But I hope so! It will do a little better when the install base is larger, so either a 3DS project 2015 or WiiU project late 2015/first 3 months 2016 is a good place for it to be.
