another loss for PS4 & Sony,so many now,i wonder when it will all relate to sales and the gen 8 lead slips away

How is gamers on xbox one getting 1080p games a loss for Sony?

Resolution is only one part of what makes up something called image quality.

The whole resolution argument is pitiful, you can run a game at low settings in 1080p, or high settings on 720p, know what looks better?, yep, you guessed it, 720p, but instead we get people claiming victory before the troops have even stepped out of their trucks, how about we wait for the games to release and be compared before we pat each other on the back and proclaim a victory?

At least that way you're not going to look like an idiot if the end result doesn't turn out as expected.

we are fanboys and only deal in extreme absolutes of stuff that has happened yet,its been loss after loss for sony since well since they powered ahead in sales,it just can't carry on

Just out of curiosity what were the other "losses" ? Im pretty sure Ill regret having asked but o well...

I dont know about the graphics being better than the PS4 but I had no doubt that the X1 would sooner than later match the PS4 in that department. So the next thing will be Sony fanboys will say " Oh yeah, well my game is at 60fps and your is only at 30!" Na,na,na,na! Even though the human eye can't discern anything more that 24 fps. That is why movies are shot that way. Sigh.....

Maybe your eyes can't discern 24fps from 60fps, for me personally there is a huge difference between those frame rates. 24 fps is the minimum to perceive movement in a decent quality that's why it used to be the standard for so many years.

you're trying way to hard now toastboy.

If you still cannot notice the difference, start worrying...

Terrible thread. Based on useless information. The PS4 is the more powerful console, stop trying to justify your purchase of weaker hardware

Resolution =/= graphics.

Toast as usual is 100% correct. The new OC3 optical valves that were reattached and reconfigured in the Xbox One have a designated power storage to enhance the graphical output which rerouted the cables to create a zone configuration. The true power of the Xbox One is finally being unleashed. Great thread, thanks!

Just think back to the number of Xbox One games that have been originally revealed as 1080p...
and none have managed to hit it so far.

Ill stick to 1080p 60fps on my gaming pc.

PC GAMING MASTER RACE!

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

did you see the order gameplay? nothing on xbox one comes close to that.

I don't believe 1080p on Xbox one with same quality levels as PS4 version (Either 60FPS or have high quality settings). Simple fact, PS4 is powerful than Xbox one approx 30%-40%. Theses resolution gaps coming close only becasue of Microsoft pushing parity with PS4 version in resolutions but there will be still big differneces between PS4 and Xbox one version.

PS: Wait for 2015 and you will see what PS4 can do from exclusives of First Party compared to Xbox one.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
