To be honest, I don't expect much from this price drop RIGHT NOW. As there aren't many system sellers on the One. Most games can be bought on PS4 as well. I'm thinking it will be much more significant during the holidays with Halo.

Its a price drop. Of course there is going to be a jump in sales.

Important part is week #3. Gotta see where that trend is going and flattening out at. Personally, I think it will just return to the same level it is now... maybe a few % points higher. Guess we'll see.

meanwhile amazon tells a different story

Yup, it's not like GS is going to say "No, it's not doing as well as we'd like". 

Here's how I see it, it'll provide a boost, but it won't be too consistant. The X1 won't drop back to pre-price cut levels, but it won't increase it's baseline by much.

VGC will show the X1 ahead of the PS4 for the next few weeks (they did so before without an excuse, now there is one), NPD will come out and disprove that (June might be the month the X1 can take, other than that, I don't think so). The cycle continues. 

Halo 5 isn't this year, and the Halo collection won't be a big system seller.

So if by vibrant X1 sells around 25k in US, with flying of the shelves do we get 30, 50 or 100k?

Well it's ranked 41 on Amazon, pretty solid if you ask me. But damn that PS4 white bundle is all the way up to number 4. (Just pre ordered mine also)

yea 41 is good, and it was higher earlier today,  but i expected it in the top ten atleast for a bit.  im impressed with how well the playstation tv is doing. i really didnt expect tht

"At Gamestop." Amazon tells an entirely different story and who knows how the SKU is doing at other retailers.

Calling it. 400k sold by end of week North America only. 100k in EU.
Sales fall off a cliff the week after that.
