That Destiny bundle is already ranked 4th on amazon so it seems to be doing the job. Halo will be huge though, and should shift alot of consoles.

I'm really kind of baffled by Nintendo possibly winning this poll. That would indicate that the Wii U's fortunes are going to absolutely skyrocket. Do people really believe that? Zelda is the only thing I see which can have a substantial impact.
Also, let's be honest. Most people don't watch entire conferences. The vast majority will watch highlights or catch news second-hand on gaming sites. It's really about generating positive buzz that catches people's attention when they check the IGN or whatever, after they get home from work.

The White PS4 was a massive Win for Sony. Remember what GTA did for the PS3 last year? Yea, now picture what Destiny will do for the PS4.
The Halo collection is great, but it's not going to be moving systems in any large capacity, MS basically handed this Holiday season to Sony on silver platter.

Nintendo has a small but very devoted fanbase. I'm a big fan, but even I know that the Wii U isn't reviving.
To parrot what many are saying, that white ps4 bundle is gonna sell like hotcakes.

-Then the Destiny bundle looks fantastic. It will surely move units. So yeah easy win for Sony. As for Nintendo...Idk. There was a lot of good stuff shown, but all the games they showed do not counteract the failure to secure the major 3rd party AAA games for this and the next year. Without a price drop I don't see Wii U sales picking up TBH. Mario Kart is already out... |
Exactly, however a price drop will not save nintendo. Unless maybe they sol dit for $99. Then it would have a chance of breaking 40M by the end of this gen. But as it stands now, all they can do is sell to the nintendo faithful. And if the N64/GC is any indication; that nintendo faithful is all of around 30M strong give or take 5M and that is refelctive in their current rate of around 4M/yr sales.
What nintendo needs, is to have the next COD/GTA/AC all release day and date with the PS4/XBO and be priced at around $200. Then could potentially turn things around overnight. Assuming the difference in performace of the games isn't too much when compared to the more powerful consoles.
Of course Sony. That Destiny bundle will sell loads. MS was the one that really needed a bundle like that.
Sony without a doubt. They got a big holiday family title announced and shown greatly (LBP3). The Destiny bundle will do gangbusters and ensure the game sales are even more towards them. Early BF stuff is a swing from last year where BF4 went MS kinda. Those are the 3 biggest as I think the rest of the exclusives kinda cancelled out. Everyone knew Zelda was coming already and I don't think it'll convince anyone but the Nintendo hardcore to buy WiiU (I was already going to buy one because I knew Zelda was coming along with the other stuff that is expected from Nintendo cause I love them).

Which is a drop in the ocean :) They will not sell millions of white bundle... few ten thousands maybe? It is nothing.
| Fusioncode said: For everyone who voted Nintendo, can you please explain why? Thanks. |
The only reasonable explanation I can come up with is that it might lift sales the most proportionally, but that's only because they've been in such a deep funk
Watch_Dogs was huge on PS4 and Destiny looks like it will repeat that trend with the heavy best on Playstation marketing. The PS4 has finally met demand and a new colour variation will likely spike demand once again.
Microsoft has some solid 2014 releases but nothing that I think is a system seller. I am looking forward to playing Sunset Overdrive though. Master Chief Collection is great value, but HD remakes/collections tend to do less sales then the original games.
Smash will sell systems but looks like a long wait till Zelda after that. With so little third party support I think Nintendo will continue to struggle.
