It's great to talk about games and features and all that jazz, but keep in mind that this is sill a sales forum. So speaking purely from a business standpoint, which of the big 3 had the strongest presentation?

Personally I think that Destiny bundle is going to be the biggest system seller of the year. Halo Collection would come in second. And Nintendo didn't really show anything that can reverse the sales trend of the WiiU or 3DS.

Thoughts?

-Sony proved that at the very least they will have as many great games if not more than Xbox One in 2015.  People can feel safe buying this console.  Plus LBP3 will round out this falls gaming roster.

-Then the Destiny bundle looks fantastic.  It will surely move units.

So yeah easy win for Sony.  As for Nintendo...Idk.  There was a lot of good stuff shown, but all the games they showed do not counteract the failure to secure the major 3rd party AAA games for this and the next year.  Without a price drop I don't see Wii U sales picking up TBH.  Mario Kart is already out...

Exactly, however a price drop will not save nintendo. Unless maybe they sol dit for $99. Then it would have a chance of breaking 40M by the end of this gen. But as it stands now, all they can do is sell to the nintendo faithful. And if the N64/GC is any indication; that nintendo faithful is all of around 30M strong give or take 5M and that is refelctive in their current rate of around 4M/yr sales.

What nintendo needs, is to have the next COD/GTA/AC all release day and date with the PS4/XBO and be priced at around $200. Then could potentially turn things around overnight. Assuming the difference in performace of the games isn't too much when compared to the more powerful consoles.
