No to both since we already hat that. The gap is about 50% between X1 and PS4. That sounds much but 720p to 1080p would be a 100% increase as would be 30 to 60 fps. So you won't ever see giant gaps. If there is parity that means both games are at peak 1080p60. If both are 1080p30 then PS4 will likely have the more stable framerate but it was not powerful enough to reach 60. |
Going from 30 to 60 fps demands 100% more performance, but doubling the pixel count won't demand such an increase because pixels are only used in some stages when rendering, so it could actually allow something like that with only 50% more raw power. Despite that, the gap is currently exaggerated simply because the X1 SDK doesn't look as mature as the PS4 one yet.
