You'd be right, if the source wasn't SCEA themselves. it's 0% justified in this instance.

Can imagine the phonecall you want now.

Hey SCEA, I see you've confirmed this is happening. I just want to check this is actually happening, not that I think you're too incompetent to be able to post news or anything, bt nitekrawler1285 says your official postings need verifying with you.

But SCEA is the subsidiary that doesn't really know what the Vita is. Of course you would have a point if SCEA itself were trustworthy, but by now it's well established that that is just not the case.

Touche!

Though I would argue that SCEA are the most trustworthy when it comes to Vita, because you know full well you can trust them to completely neglect it at any possible opportunity.

Hopefully there's a physical release.

He is not employed by SCEA. SCEA announced FF Type 0 for Vita via THEIR blog. He simply retweeted news from SCEA's OFFICIAL communication channel which should be a reliable source.

He is Senior Business Development Manager for SCEE, a completely different company to SCEA. He thought SCEA had sealed down Type O for Vita and got excited because, believe it or not, he's actually a passionate gamer and had been campaigning hard himself to get Type O brought to Vita.

People really need to understand who works for who and what their remit is before shooting off vitrious drivel that is completely unjustified. Without Shahid, Vita's post 2012 Western output would have made the Virtual Boy look good.

If you are going to share information publicly it might be best to check said information for accuracy beforehand.  Anyone whom works for any business should take the time to do that to avoid embarassment not only for themselves but for their employer as well.   He made a bad situation worse and he's going to get shit for being negligent and unprofessional because that is what his behavior was. A little patience and a phone call or email could have avoided this entire situation.

Sahid and his apologists need to understand that this is exactly the behavior he has already been criticized for many times.  If he doesn't want to keep getting lambasted for it then he'll need to change the behavior.  It's 100% justified.

Same goes with his haters who refuse to admit his contribution to the localization of several psvita games. The guy is far from perfect and he's made several mistakes as an employee of Sony but that doesn't change all the good he's done for vita and many things going on behind the scenes that we'll never know about.

Doesnt matter whom the source was.

Obivously these calls are needed because SCEA is that incompetent.

Maybe so, but that doesn't make for good business relations. Especially within the same umberella...

I have acknowledged what he has done multiple times. Matter of fact I detract Sony for not giving him the resources to do more.  So you might want to direct that comment elsewhere.

No matter what whom has done for any platform doesn't make unprofessional behavior any better than what it is.

One man's unprofessional behaviour is another man's passion and personal involvement ;p

The industry would be a lot better with more Shahid and Major Nelsons IMO.

It makes for better business relations because it doesn't cause spectacles and offend customers.  SCEA needs to be offended before customers.

When working CS for a game company whom shall not be named I have had the pleasure of calling and checking out some of the information they released publicly in another region.  They weren't butt hurt at all and it only improved our relations and communications so that we didn't disappoint customers or each other going forward.
