Ratchet of Clank:Tools of Destruction, Heavenly Sword and Warhawk are good exclusives on the PS3. Oh yeah there is also Lair the best game ever. Noone bad mouths Lair, or I will f***** have ya.

Yeah i dont see your point. Sure Lair sucks but so does blue dragon and kingdom under fire and R&C, HS and Warhawk are all awesome games, Sony first party has a far better reputation than microsft first party.

Hi, i'm solojohlo and i'm pretty fucking awesome

What a long, rather boring whine.

If you don't want a PS3 don't buy one. If you obly want BR then buy a standalone player. If you have a 360 wait and see if they release a BR addon.

Also, don't fall into the rather annoying localism of complaining about PS3 SW sales. Globally they are fine, they lose out in US due to higher install base but 360 loses out in Japan for same reason and in Others its about even.

If I chose just to look at Japan rather than US, for example, the only conclusion would be the 360 needs to be discontinued immediately!

Now you're right, people will buy it for BR first. But I'll make you a little bet, some of those will buy a few games, then a few more, and then a few more...

The PS3 is now targeting two consumer profiles - one who buys it mainly for games but will very likely pick up a few BR movies, and one who buys it mainly for BR but will very likely pick up a few games...

But if you don't like the approach they took use your purchasing vote and don't buy one.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

you are making a good choice,,a year from now ,Sony will chage your mind about games,,just give them abit time (not that there are not enough games right now, cause there are lots of great games available on PS3 now)

Sony just acheived its first goal with PS3(wining the HD format war)
their second objective is to become market leader in the HD gaming industry,,,, now they will focus more on making great games and believe me sony's gaming studios are really talented so they will make this happen.

with the new developed PhyreEngine(at GDC 08) the multiplats will look better on PS3 in 09 ,,so Sony is working hard now and you will see the results in a year or so time

I have 9 ps3 games in under a year - not including any psn games. I don't have time to play all the games I want. My list for 08 is big and that will double my 07 library. The games are there - no more excuses now.

Also, lets remember Blu ray is not only used for movie play back... It for games. We don't need Blu ray for games? Well, wouldn't Lost Odyssey be great on one disc :D DVD 9 will be the downfall of the 360 for next gen games in a few years. Cracks are showing now.

Better yet, wouldn't it be great if your console could play lost odyssey?

honestly dude PS3 had one exclusive dissapointment (Lair)which got an average score of 6.1 from 32 reviews(http://n4g.com/ps3/games/g-21843/tt/metareviews.aspx ) .but the rest of the games  on that list are not bad ,actually they are pretty good games,,, heavenly sword got 8.4 from  59 reviews which means its a great game( http://n4g.com/ps3/games/g-21832/tt/metareviews.aspx) and about rachet and clanck and uncharted :

Uncharted(98 reviews) and average score of 9(http://n4g.com/ps3/games/g-24441/tt/metareviews.aspx )ratchet and clanck (44 reviews ) and average score of 9(http://www.gamestats.com/objects/819/819456//articles.html)

On the other hand, I don't see people constantly bashing Xbox360 for its bad exclusives like Circle of doom :KUF which got  5.8 from 34 reviews( http://n4g.com/xbox360/games/g-21500/tt/metareviews.aspx )

So constatnly bashing a console for one bad exclusive could only show that u might be biased against PS3,,Cause the facts show another story.

Anyways I am not generalizing XBOX 360 and saying :yea all the games on xbox are bad since Kingdom under fire is a bad exclusive,,,Actually I believe there are lots of great games on 360(my favourite games on 360 are GOW and bioshock) so don't be a blind fanboy ,be a gamer instead and give credit where it's due.

Paragraphs. Use them. I can't stand/ won't read such a long winded rant if it's written like your original post.

I review tons of video games, and needed to included PS3 games. I picked up one just for that. I have a PS2 and I wanted full BC. That's why I bought it. To this day, I've had the PS3 for about a month and haven't played a single game except for a game I am reviewing for Sony, Sky Jumper? That's it. I have 11 PS3 titles and haven't played any of them.

After reading your post, why not wait a while before buying a PS3? Borrow one from your friend, or go to their house and play it. I wouldn't have bought one if I didn't review games. I need a real reason to buy it. I could care less about Blu Ray - both HD formats are overrated - and honestly, the PS3 is rather overpriced.

You said you have a 360, right? I'd stick with that instead of paying $500 plus for the console and end up with buyer's remorse. I need to have at least 5 compelling reasons to buy a console. Sadly, the PS3 doesn't have 5 reasons for me to pick one up - but I did to review games.

So basically you are saying the only game you are basing your views that PS3 is overpriced and not worth buying is a mediocre PSN title. Wow... that's some advisory opinion !

Madskillz is fastly turning into a screaming fanboy .So he has 13 games and havent played anyone .

I have two thought about this :

1)Madskillz .When you buy a game you must play it until you get another .Dont know if you dont pay for them being (supposedly ) a reviewer but thats the way it works with players .Buy one game ,beat it or get bored about it ,then get another .Getting game after game until 13 and not playing a single one is a bit stupid on your part .

2)I am pretty sure some of those 13 games are as well on the 360 and if you had those there you would play them to death and then advice the people to buy the 360 to play those as part of the "360 bigger than life lineup " .

3)You should let us where do you write your reviews .I mean ,we have to know where someone as biased as you writes you know ...to avoid reading you dont know if you understand what I mean .

As for the OP he just has it wrong ....PS3 software sales are not only getting better but as long as ratio goes they are besting 360 "the hardcore machine by excelency " sales .

Well at least you will have your ps3 when your 360 dies.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
