quick question I have carpet ...does it work if I just lay it down on the carpet or do I need to get some kind of mat to make it work better?

The mats are a scam to steal your cash. It should work fine on carpet.

 If you have thick carpet, you may want to see if you are getting accurate results or not.. i have 'medium' carpet (if you catch my meaning) and after adding the foot extensions (which were packed into box) it seems to be measuring fine now

Well the US IGN team have put up their Wii Fit review, giving it a respectable 8.0. I`ll be definitely getting this game within the next couple of weeks, potentially even tomorrow. I feel it could be a nice alternative workout after uni and work when I cant get to my gym.
