No he was not behind OOT.

He added suttle things but did not fully direct it.

same with TP. I think he did MM but im not sure.


He designed the dungeons.

He's been director from Majora's Mask onwards.

So with TP and MM, he's directed the darkest Zeldas in the series.

He is also the one responsible for pulling Zelda in the WW direction. And it's on record that they made TP because the market backlash from WW forced them.

Are you implying pre-Aunoma Zeldas were hyper realistic manly games?

Also, can you provide a link for the latter? I have not heard of that.

They had western fantasy esthetics. They were not anime games. It's not dark vs bright that is the issue. It's anime vs proper fantasy.

What about people who either don't care or hate open-world or sandbox games? Guess it doesn't really matter to all.
