Are you trying to be this obtuse? Showing games wasnlt the issue, showing mainly multi-plats, trailers and non impactfull games was an issue. Do you really thing pahtom dust remake, and crackdown come clsoe to uncharted, Bloodborne? Sony had a mroe diverse portfolio with a lot more attention of exclsuive content, and gameplay. Sonys was a more imopressive showing, all the more impressive considering many of there studios still have to be announced.

Why not? As much as I know is that Crackdown was an Ip which sold some million units. Why is that not as important as Bloodborn? I think we should look at the sales numbers of games from known IPs and Halo isn't smaller as Uncharted, Crackdown isn't smaller as Demon's Souls and Fable isn't smaller as LBP...Forza is also not an unimportant game and if games like The Order are really more imporant or better as games like Sunset Overdrive has to be seen.

actually, it's been admitted by several MS fans that Crackdown got its sales by piggybacking off the Halo 3 beta. Not saying it wasn't a good game, but looking at Crackdown 2, the series declined. It could come back strong with 3, but it ain't apples to apples with Bloodborne. That franchise (can I call it a franchise?) of Demons' Souls/Dark Souls has only expanded it's audience since its inception. Demons' Souls actually statistically matched Crackdown in sales, without any kind of incentive the magnitude of a Halo 3 beta, and any kind of mainstream recognition from the developer (their best game prior was what? Armored Core?)
Regarding Halo, unless the XBone's sales pick up, Uncharted could end up being a more important title. You can't sell 9-10M Halo Collections or Halo 5s when there aren't that many people with XBones. Unless you're expecting a near 100% attach ratio when the XBone eventually sells that much (which won't be for a while at this rate. Speculation, though, since we have yet to see the effect of the price drop). Whereas, at the pace the PS4 is going and the popularity that Uncharted has garnered, I could see it easily pushing 8M+.
Lastly, you're right, Fable isn't smaller than LBP. But the thing is, we already knew about Fable. LBP3 was a surprise announcement. That's why it had more impact (despite the incredibly shitty people who demo'd it). And again, you're right, Horizon isn't an unimportant title, but again, we already knew about it, as did we already know about Sunset Overdrive and The Order. I don't think showing off games we already saw last year and have been reading up on since helped either conference, in terms of which one was "better".
