Are E3 expectation way too high?

Yes 53 70.67%

No 9 12.00%

Maybe 12 16.00%

Total:74

I had low expectations and both Sony and MS surpassed my expectations. So many people expect to have their minds blown every singe year and they get disappointed.

Nope, I think we deserve to have high expectations. If we're leaving E3 disappointed, then we're obviously not getting the games we wanted.

There is having expectations, and wating the impossible. You can't blame Sony for not showing a game you wanted, even though it has never even been leaked.

"Oh my god, no Ni No Kuni 2 ? Lame."

This is just dumb.

Exactly, we shouldn't expect the impossible, but we should have expectations. A game shouldn't be shown off in a flashy CGI trailer at one E3 but be MIA the next, we shouldn't have to sit through 30 minutes of PR drivel, we should expect to see at least something about games that were announced in 2006 / 2009.

The Last Guardian much ? I must say I'm diappointed too, especially after the Cancelled/NOPE, not cancelled thing with IGN.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

The thing with expectations is that if they are exceeded it's wonderful, whereas if they aren't met it sucks balls.

It's why literally all I'm expecting from Nintendo is to see something of the new Zelda. As long as I get that I won't be disappointed.

I'm HOPING for more and for Zelda to be a 2014 release, but I won't be surprised or upset if I don't get that.

And Final Fantasy Versus XIII / Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3.

It was said they wouldn't be there... Why would that make a conference bad if they weren't even supposed to appear ?

Agree completely.

Yep.

I am glad u are :)

Expectations are not too high but this years performance is far too low so far.
In the past decade, E3 often managed to blow gamers away.
