Forums - Sony - I hate to say it, but Sony E3 was terrible!

Maybe you are right.

It's possible they are still working on God Of War 4.

They could have at least show a demo short movie or something.

I really hope we will see that game soon.

No God Of War 4 - You do know we got a new GoW, last year right?  It's too soon for a new one, and there is no way they can have a new one to show already.

No Heavenly Sword 2

No Last Guardian - I'm going to guess TGS for this one.

The above three are basically "the games I wanted weren't there, so it was a bad show."  If you had some reason to expect them, and they were promised to be there, by an at least potentially reliable source, then it might be a complaint.

No Virtaul Reality demo.

They don't need to show off the demo.  They just announced it at GDC to get developers on  board to solve their problems.  We aren't going to see any notable demo, quite yet.  Wait for next year, when the device isn't a year and a half from release.

Many games that were missing.

This is a very broad statement, many games are always going to be missing.  They were never going to show every single thing...

Sony E3 show was very disappointing.

I disagree entirely, but that's your opinion.

After watching videos of sony E3 i must agree it was a good show.

For me it was disappointing because my favorite games weren't there.

It was still a good show overall.

Youa re wrong, it has surpassed 50 million and counting, it's huge.

50 million no wear near makes it the biggest game dude. Both tetris and wii sports have it beat by a large margin and it's not even anywhere close to the best selling franchise. It's a decent game and again popular with little kids but it is no where near the biggest. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_video_games  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_video_game_franchises

Entitled, whiny gamers come close to ruining E3 for me every year. I see a bunch of games that have me happy, then I check comments and it's nothing but whining.

"Whining" is what caused microsoft to remove their strict policies

"Whining" is the reason the xbox one is now cheaper and without kinect

"Whining" is what gives companies feedback to know if their product is good or not.

It's not whining it's contsructive criticism.

Companies sometimes need to know according to feedback if they are on the right track or not.

If you think whining and constructive feedback are the same thing, I'm guessing you've never seen a sleepy toddler.

Complaining about how something is "bad" simply because it doesn't meet unrealistic expections is not constructive criticism, it's just people being silly.  Both the Microsoft and Sony conferences were far from bad.  They both had plenty of quality games to show off.

Every year people think these companies are going to reveal EVERYTHING THEY'RE WORKING ON and every year they do not.  People need to get over it already and be happy with the things they do share.

If you looked the show and enjoyed it that's great but every one has is own opinion.

A lot of people expceted certain games that were not there.

So for certain people including me the show was very disspaointing.

Just like you would be very disspointed if your favorite games weren't there.

Not a single of my favorite games was at the press conference. THere were however some great NEW games that caught my attention and piqued my interest.

Not every game people is going to be at E3. THat is as unreal an expectation as it can get and to judge a conference due to it not showing your particular favorite is about as biased as one can get.

You are right though, every one does have their own opinion, but that doesn't mean they are equal. The bias is blinding.

Very Boring indeed.

Stop playing videogames. Or, at the very least, stop watching conferences about videogames. It sounds like you're wasting your time.

*stock response* Is this the 1st e3 that you've watched the conference? When was it SO much better that you set yourself up for such disappoinment?

I just wrote in my answers before why i think the show could have been much better.

You also clearly didn't get my point.

So please explain to me.

I said that i think the show could have been much better.

And i also explained why.

That's my opinion.

You don't have to agree with me.

If you don't understand my point thenI see little reason for continuing this conversation

You are utterly delusional.

Do you know why? Because the "whining" he is referring to is in a different category altogether from anything you menion there. The outrage from gamers is more equivalent to

A 10 year old boy who throws a massive tantrum in a store full of people because he can't get the most expensive toy - EVERY DAY. Its not realistic, it has no bearing on the past and it really is annoying to everbody.

Those examples are different entirely.

If you can't see that complaining about POLICIES that have NEVER been done before and RESTRICT the customer in ways like never before

are different from

Sony not showing a specific game or two that you PERSONALLY EXPECTED at a yearly conference even though history shows that the conference is NEVER up to people's expectations

then I don't know if it's even worth attempting to communicate with you.

You can't reason with fools.

They expected Cerny to come down from the heavens with new IPs in his pocket and AAA games that  they personally wanted. They excpected their nipples to lactate and drip on the floor from what would be shown. They talked it up for months and believed in rumours and "insiders" and spent hours discussing BS with people they've never met. They meditated intensely on potential megaton after megaton believing that it would be possible.

They did all of that even though there was nothing to ever suggest that e3 would what they thought.

Many of them have never watched an e3 conference before.

Like I said - fools.

It was not terrible neither amazing. I was expecting more but it was still good.

It wasn't terrible it just wasn't very good. But Uncharted 4 will probably easily be the best game of next year.
