Forums - Sony - Uncharted 4 is 1080p, targeting 60FPS

60fps?? I really don't feel it's needed for this. Damn... If I were to bet on anything, I would assume this game would be 30fps.

After watching the 60fps trailer... the animation looks almost too smooth in 60 fps. 30 fps felt more cinematic. Either way, I'm just amazed at what they've achieved while targetting 1080p60.

i remember people saying the same thing about The Order 1886

The order isn't even close to releasing.

I've heard this before. what we've seen was a cgi or a very altered real time. I don't recomed expecting that in real time because such promises were never delivered.

Thanks. Bye.

i remember people saying the same thing about the order. "it is CG. no way that is how the game looks."  and other trollish comments downplaying the visuals saying it wont even be close to that. then comes gameplay and it looks even better.

It's should probably be ignored. The people saying this stuff have obviously not played a recent Naughty Dog game. In-engine cutscenes are slightly touched up, but it blends perfectly with in-game visuals. The game will looks almost exactly like this, if not the exact same or better.

What changed? they always say that and the final product is always inferior to the first showing.

Huge opening week for Uncharted 4 expected. Uncharted 4 could sell 2 million in its opening week. Big games last generation sold 2 to 3 million+ in their opening weeks.

Again, the order isn't a released game. it's in the exact same situation as it was last year. so, why are you using it as an example?

because we already saw gameplay more than once, and everytime we see it its improving. its clear the visual quality is being raised with this game with time.

Like watch dogs and many others? look, history has proven that in 99% of the cases, the trailers don't show how the graphics are right now and the final result is inferior. there is always the chance it won't be like that this time but untill then, I'll take it with a grain of salt.

watch dogs looked worse than it did a year after its showing. The Order is a different case, it looked great and a year after its showing it looked even better.
