Companies do this all the time. They use Ebay or amazon to list prices at lower than MSRP to create traffic to their normal websites by reaching a demographic that may not normally browse their fares.
This is why its still $399 on tigerdirect.com and $399 everywhere else. There is no over shipment. There is no excessive trade-in from disgruntles consumers. It is a relatively common practice to increase hits on their website through other channels for long term gain. This is not, as much as you wish, a troublesome sign. Sorry.
In the past month I have seen a number of reatilers selling PS4 between like $350-80. I cant fathom why. New SKU incoming? New revision?
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Step 1: go to tigerdirect.com
Step 2: Witness the price of PS4
Step 3: Go to every other authorized sellers website of the PS4
Step 4: See all the prices, make a note of these prices
Step 5: Go back to Ebay.
Step 6: Make a note at the single promotional price
Step 7: read my post again. Slowly. Carefully. Calmly.

Why would anybody go through all those steps when the $359.99 is RIGHT THERE?

Not with the leaked Best Buy add of the Vita bundle. also, I hope after all the terribel financial decisions Sony has made they wouldnt drop the price right now.
