Companies do this all the time. They use Ebay or amazon to list prices at lower than MSRP to create traffic to their normal websites by reaching a demographic that may not normally browse their fares.
This is why its still $399 on tigerdirect.com and $399 everywhere else. There is no over shipment. There is no excessive trade-in from disgruntles consumers. It is a relatively common practice to increase hits on their website through other channels for long term gain. This is not, as much as you wish, a troublesome sign. Sorry.
