I still don't know whether or not Destiny needs a monthly subscription like a traditional MMO.

If it does then MS new policy seems to be the same as Sony's, but if Destiny isn't subscription based then this is even a bit more consumer friendly.

But in that case it becomes quite unclear which games can be played online without Gold .. Watch Dogs or Dark Souls (once 3 arrives) do have blended SP and online MP aswell, are those playable online without Gold? Or is this limited to games that pretty much don't work without online, like Titanfall or PvZ Garden Warfare?
