I'm not trying to say that 3D is dead by any means, but if we have to be honest it is pretty clear that it has lost some of its hype. Virtual reality isn't the same thing as 3D and to be honest I think it has less of a chance to end up like 3D, but it's still something to look into. VR does seem to be very extensive in what people can do with it, it's not just for gaming or entertainment. But if we're just talking about games, of course it depends on the initial success of the upcoming VR headsets, but in case they don't flop, do you think VR will end up like 3D?

Until they make it less awkward to look at, (and a few other things) it probably will be... Like the hardcore people will get right on it but I don't see the mainstream caring about it anytime soon

Although I do think Hollowgrams are the way of the future! You don't have to wear something on your face to make it work and it would bring virtual tits to a whole nother demention!

until they can make a ''headset'' the size and weight of regular sunglasses it won't pick up steam, so short term yeah, long term who knows
