Well, if they do make another one, hopefully they will do a better job copying smash bros. i liked the idea of a sony character brawl type game, but all stars was not very good... Add in some ledges, make it more of a juggler, not this build up to super move crap

If It's true, Round 2 is a horrible name for it.

Oh well, it isn't nearly as bad as the new Smash Bros.

it was good game apart from one thing, the system of only getting a kill by doing a supermove was a stupid decision

One hopes they're smart enough to realize that even the almighty Super Smash Bros from their divine older brother didn't start with the boundless glory of Melee.

If this happens then Sony shouldn't try to be Smash Bros but rather try to find their own 'insanely unique fighter' approach, much of the first one seems to have laid the ground-work by working on being flashy.

Nintendo has ultra-super-hero 'comic-book' esque action for Smash Bros, so I think Sony would do well to have cheesy over-the-top "action movies" action as the goal of Battle Royal.

Then Microsoft will come along with a duck-and-cover first person 3D fighting game with guns. XD

Oh, I agree with you about the sales of another PSABR.  I expect they'd be even less than the first game; definitely not higher.

I don't know why you're only counting one platform (we live in an age where games release on multiple platforms, and such releases should be counted together), but whatever :P
