Forums - Nintendo - How Much Will Wii U Sell in the Next Update?

How much?

Under 100k 101 21.86%

110k 89 19.26%

120k 67 14.50%

130k 30 6.49%

140k 45 9.74%

More than 150k 130 28.14%

Total:462

I usually don't do predictions, but since I'm contributing to an average, I'll go with 190,000.

My reasoning is that any drop-off will be cancelled out by the full week of sales.

I think 100k-120k

The Wii U before Mario Kart 8 probably only sold it's normal 30k-35k. So that was 152k in 2 days. I think it will be anywhere from. 170k-210k. It will probably be around the same as FW MK8 sales. I think 190k will be it. But I think it can't go below 150k because the bundles have been selling out all over the place. Even the non MK8 bundles are selling out.

Around the same. 187K after just 2 days worth of Mario Kart 8, it'll easily do 180K with a full week.

We're going to see the Wii U having an installed userbase of 7m before the end of June.

In fact, quite reasonable... Its quite possiblle that of 1,2 mln MarioKart 8 sold, half was bought for their Wiis. So now the guys will understand their mistake and rush into shops to buy a console to play the damn game...

lol

The hype for MK8 still feels very alive, if anything seems to be getting stronger since it came out. And last week wasn't even the game's first full week. So I'll say Wii U sales will remain just above 150k next week.

140k to 150k

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Not expecting it, but then I wasn't expecting 187k either. Think the casuals might be getting in hype train too...

Can you be more specific?

I'll say 195 for the purposes of your average

It should remain over 100k at minimum. If Ninty has a strong e3, they can get some momentum going, possibly even salvage this gen to a respectable level.

So is your prediction 100k? Or something else?

I voted 110

40 M respectable? and if they dont 25M lifetime?

At this point after all their struggles, I'd say 20-25m is respectable.
