I was given the PS4 as a present shortly after launch, but were it not for that i'd still own neither. I do prefer the PS4, since i have a lot more faith in Sony to deliver in the long run than i do MS, but currently neither are particularly appealing. Excluding games i can get on PC, inFamous is pretty much the only major PS4/X1 title I've been interested in so far.

I'm also an image quality whore (PC has spoiled me :p), so i also appreciate the PS4's high res multi-plats. 90% of the time i will still buy my multi-plats on PC, but it's nice having a decent alternative for when i don't want to game sitting at my desk.

I will probably end up with an X1 eventually though, like i did with the 360.

The main reason I get consoles is exclusive games. I mainly play multiplats in PC. I got a PS4 so early this gen is to honor Sony's decision to support gamers and take a stance against DRM. I was somewhat curious about Xbox One. But since many Xbox One exclusives will hit PC so there is no reason for me to get Xbox One. I might get 3DS XL in this holiday. But it might change after E3.

If I planned to buy one, it would be the PS4. It'll have the Japanese RPGs and most overall Japanese third party support in general.

TBH I am looking forward to quantum break in PC. Remedy has never let its fans down. A PC port will be sweet.

Wii U in the near future.

All three 8th gen consoles purchased on their launch day. So I bought a PS4 before the Xbox One obviously.

Big part of it for me too.  Sony's legacy has won my trust in this regard.

I prefer the X1 and will probably get that first most likely when Halo 5 comes out.

MS never owned the ip for alan wake, but they own the ip for quantum break. MS should respect Remedys tradition of putting their games on pc. If they do, Remedy will unveil a pc port sometime after the launch on the xbone.
