Have you ever made one of those really in depth forum threads here on VGC about sales or the state of the industry in general, but more so pertaining to facts and figures, and wanted a wider audience to appreciate it?
Since rejoining the team I've been thinking up some new and original features for VGC and would like to give this a shot, see if it gels. Here's how it would work.
if you have a certain discussion you're passionate about say for instance you think Japan is in terminal decline, or you think the reign of FPS is over, and are willing to put in research, back up your arguments with facts and most importantly figures (preferably VGC's own) so we can make it sales orientaited then this is the feature for you.
You get to chose the narrative, the sales data used and the overall idea of the piece. I will reformat the charts so they're cohesive with the rest of my work, and write the actual piece out. We will have ongoing discussions either over PM, Skype or Email, your choosing, and I'll try my best to make sure you're happy with the final written article. You will be fully credit and I'll even let you have a little blurb about yourself about how and why you're so passionate about the subject and videogames/vgc in general.
