WiiU design? What's wrong with it? I just had my best friend and his family over for memorial day and he praised the WiiU. Was shocked on how comfortable the gamepad was and how fluent it is. This guy has always bought a PlayStation, big PSFan. And he went away impressed with the system. That was a first for him.

I am Nintendo fan and im the first to tell you the Wii was disappointment, IMO. The thing about the Wii it made Nintendo so much money they could afford to sit and wait out the the really slow start. Why, because they know they have the best system of this gen. Even if the complete bias hate in the game journalism world wouldn't admit it.

I wanted to be polite, but if you really want to understand then consumers didn't bought a Wii U to play NSMBWii 720p, DKCR 720p and SM3DLand 720p.

I'm hardcore Nintendo. But I don't even care that much about Mario. I don't buy all of series games. Mario Kart, I also skipped GBA, GC, and Wii. So I easily bought the Wii U for MK8. Since the series to me is now completly fresh. While I bought NSMW DS, and got my share of the other games style then. I take seveal year breaks between series. To not get bored with the core concept.

Even though. I finally got a Wii U. I still don't use the gamepad as primary controls. I only use it when I don't want to use my TV. Or if I'm on the toilet. Normally I will only use my Wii remote. It's still a waste. With all other functions that don't involve off TV play. Even the TV remote function is half assed. IF you add both cable and TV it doens't have a second number pad for the TV. And Tvii is a freaking joke. It takes so god damn long to load. I think I'm on 56k again. Makign it useless.

So the people want the upgrades of the Wii games that were themselves more GameCube-styled.

I'm not trying to ridicule your point particularly, i just found it amusing that dengle deconstructed the logical hole created by your choice of words.

I chose others in the poll because for some reason a new 3D Mario ala Galaxy was not in the poll yet Banjo is?

But anyway, I love DKC:TF, NSMBWU and SM3DW and I truly believe they are a step up in every way to their Wii predecessors but the haters have a point: They aren't hyptastic games.

Nintendo needs to learn how to control marketing hype.

Also.....I think it's time to break out the ultimate emergency switch: Full fledged Pokemon MMO on consoles.
