There is a such thing as a flawed opinion when the evidence to support your opinion is not correct. Polygon just made a bullsh*t attach rate to say it would be the worst-selling in the series. The series average for consoles (The handhelds always have lower attach rates) is 28.7%, meaning it will sell close to 1/3 of Wii U's install base, putting it at around 6.66 million at the lowest...

OT: It really wouldn't be a practical move for Nintendo, and they specifically stated that if their hardware goes down, the software's going down with them. Plus, their first-party games are the only thing they have left on the Wii U, so making them multiplat would be suicide.
