I like it.

Shows me all the stuff I've been recently playing anyways.

But you can go to settings and turn it off.

I like it considering it allows quick launching of your most used apps.

Now, if they could only fix the Hulu+ app issues (takes forever to exit app, system won't turn off when in app/have to hard power it off, or just stops working after viewing one show/can't watch another show sometimes when going back to menu to load another show). Hulu+ is complete shit on Wii U. I have no to very few problems with Netflix.



So far the quickstart menu has been a great success in my house. Of all the things in the world to 'really dislike', this is not one of them for me.

Why be angry with an OS interface?
You will only be there for a couple of seconds before you start your game or app.
Well... if it is not totally broken like Win8!

The same is true for most of the people in the forum posts I've found about the issue.  Unfortunately for me, that's probably around the time I started having problems.  Maybe a little after that.  Every once in a while Netflix wouldn't connect and I would have to restart the software once or twice.  (And believe me, none of this has anything to do with my connection, because everything else works fine.)  Soon it began happening more frequently and requiring more restarts.  Now it's come to a point where it almost never works, and while sometimes I'll get lucky and connect after maybe ten tries, there are times when no amount of trying will do anything.  Then sometimes I can connect, but then Netflix says it's "having a hard time playing this title" for every title.  It's gotten so ridiculous and I don't know what to do about it.  It's what I watch on, and it doesn't even work.

I sure hope they release an update or something that fixes it.
