Oh yes, please do. FFXII is already a really pretty game. Imagining that in HD... oh my.

And they consider X/X-2 Remaster a success? The same company that deemed Tomb Raider, Hitman and Sleeping Dogs as failures? Are they... starting to get their shit together...?

Actually they said Tomb Raider was fine after the Definitive Edition. But you're right that on last-gen consoles it never met "expectations".

The guy who makes Square's projections is likely a troll. Tomb Raider sold 5 million or something, Absolution is the best-selling on the series, and Sleeping Dogs, a new ip, probably hit the 3 million mark.

Yep. Total failures.

Well Sleeping Dogs was brought back from the dead so it was probably dawn expensive. It was originally a True Crime game which the publisher scrapped only to have SQEX step in and save it

They should've released it with FFX/X-2 right away.

I mean let's not be stupid, my Macbook can emulate FFXII in HD, what is so complicated about making a fixed master of FFXII for PS3 ?

FFX/X-2 was a rip-off for these exact reasons.

I would love to have this game to play again since got right to the end of XII on the PS2 but it came at the same time as the PS3 so most of my attention was focused on that so never actually finished the game...

Roll on E3 when we can hopefully have a teaser at least!

I sure hope so. I want to get some trophies if I ever sink another 100h into this game.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Well I'm about 88 hours in to FFX, so with all the trophies, I've probably only got another 10-20 hours to go

Then I'll have to wait a few months for KH II.5 HD remix, but then there will be a nice gap, since it doesn't seem likely that I'll have any modern jRPGs to play...

I would like this, but I'd rather that they got on with FF XV and the "super-secret traditional FF XVI"

would be good to see a collection of all hd remakes from the first up .... my fav was vII so would have a look at that if it ever came

Will FFVII HD ever be a reality?

No. Why would anyone want to do a remake that would actually cost as much as a new game ?
