Wolfenstein: The New Order

 

When we check the first week sales number, a very interesting point has attracted my attention.

The 8th gen sales ratio:

1 PS4 Wolfenstein: The New Order 330,703
2 XOne Wolfenstein: The New Order 188,200

330 703 / 188 200 = 1.76

versus

PS4 / XB1 (as of 2014-05-24) = 7,827,583 / 4,572,124 = 1.71

 

Liksewise

5 PS3 Wolfenstein: The New Order 77,009
6 X360 Wolfenstein: The New Order 75,709

 

77 009 / 75 709 = 1.02

versus

PS3 / X360 (as of 2014-05-24) = 82,021,823 / 80,802,929 = 1.02

 

So the games sales ratio by platform is almost in PERFECT CORRELATION with their user base. This may also mean the PS4 / XB1 ratio is slightly undertracked (based on the game's relative performance). However, this whole information may also be the result of an introvert intrapolaiton.

Europe     => XB1 : 23-24 % vs PS4 : 76-77%
N. America => XB1 :  49-52% vs PS4 : 48-51%
