I've noticed this a few times already, but now that it's cost me some races I'm bringing it up! xD

In the first video below, check out Rosalina at 0:10. Yeah I couldn't get a clip that focused specifically on it, but what happens is Rosalina rams into a car, then runs into my banana, yet she still ending up passing me.

And in this one I score a direct hit at 0:05, but she just keeps on going like nothing happened.

Um, yeah, I'm pretty sure banana and shell hits make you stop completely, so what gives!? Anyone else notice this glitch?

Agreed. When online games are first released, there are ALWAYS problems. We unfortunately don't live in a world where online technology is perfect for gaming and 100% fair 100% of the time. Give it time for Nintendo coders to study and fix the problems. 

It's just a matter of if they actually do it! If so I hope they'll also give friend rooms more options, and make DLC characters and battle arenas while they're at it!

Naw, as the Wii U hasn't been hacked yet, so it must just be a glitch/lag.

Couldn't see the banana thing, but I did notice that she already had an item either dragging behind or in her hand each time. I'm not saying that it wasn't lag, but it could have been deflection, too. Difficult to tell.

I haven't had any issue of any sort.
