Forums - General Discussion - Hello new person here

Usually, European sales come in on Monday, American sales on Tuesday and the japanese sales on Wednesday. ioi normally posts them sometimes late in the (GMT) night, which means you as an australian will usually see them on the following morning.

Additionally, we get first day sales infos for Japan on Fridays, VGChartz' estimates on Japanese sales on Sundays and Famitsu numbers on Wednesdays afternoons in the news section.

Welcome. If no one has mentioned it yet, I wouldn't put off getting a Wii. If you see it in a store, buy it. Chances are you might not see it again. Plus, there are other great games now that could hold you over for the two you mentioned.

woohoo! More Australians.

welcome aboard.

Also, don't listen to superchunk, after about Feb/March Wiis will become plentiful. Buy a Wii whenever you want. Although I would recommend importing a US Wii, and then importing games. Much cheaper that way and you usually get the games earlier too. You can mod the Wii to play local games.
