Horizon is open world. Drive anywhere you want, free cruise, listen to an AMAZING soundtrack and has a slightly more arcady feel. It still keeps a lot of the simulation feel to it but is more forgiving.

The main difference is the massive open world to drive around. Personally I think Horizon is the best Forza.

Horizon isn't made by Turn 10, they merely "supervise" developement. It is a spinoff series, where it is open world, compared to Forza being track based.

Gameplay is also more arcadey by comparison as well for casual appeal, but with SIM options for Forza veterans as well.

Hmmm interesting! See I wasn't too big on Forza 5 (more of a Mario Kart fan myself) so it is drastically different you say? What else is there to do in the open world?

On topic, very likely unannounced indies will make 2014 as well that we dont know of.

Basicaly Driveclub is coopying Horizon. Horizon is already what Driveclub is attempting to be. Forza numbered is a sim. Horizon is a social open road club racer on masive stretches  of American roads. An the best looking racer last gen. However is suffered because orizon was only 30 fps. Horizon 2 better be 60 or I'll be seriously pisseed at MS. Games  like F1 2012, NFS, Horizon al feel slow after playing Forza 3 - 5 ( all 60 fps ). 

The game is all about driving, but there's all kinds of different stuff to do in the open world. 

Horizon actually has a story to it. Your playing as this new rookie at this massive festival in Colorado. So in between Festival races while your free roaming you can come across other racers and challenge them on the spot. It will lead into a crazy 1 vs 1 race. Also you can find barns with hidden cars in them, drift races, lap races, huge sprint races, all kinds of stuff. As you progress through the game you earn higher wrist band colors that let you into more prestigous races.

Also the game has the best soundtrack ever imo because they wanted to capture that festival kind of feel. As you drive around you'll see stages with bands playing, fireworks at night, huge ferris wheels with rides, crowds of people, etc.

The game is awesome.

Also it has a real time Day / Night cycle, which is awesome. Its beautiful when your driving at night and start watching the sun come up.

I want horizon 2 and SO and i will be happy. There are enough multiplats that i want already.

Horizon because my fav forza on last gen. At first i was like "oh another forza" but after i saw gameplay I decided to buy it. $15 During black friday and i fell in love with it. Its more of an arcade sim but thats exactly why i loved it. Driveclub seems to be exactly what horizon was so i will probably buy it aswell. When is it releasing? i need a ps4 this holiday.
