I'm looking forward to Destiny and I'll get it on day one. However, the trailers thus far have been underwhelming. Sometimes opinions change when people play the final product.

Pretty much this. (Except the first sentence and the looking forward to Destiny part) If the game ends up being really great, then of course I'll pick it up earlier.

Maybe people are underwhelmed because the trailer gameplay looks generic and boring.

Bungie isn't doing a great job marketing this game thus far. The hype they have right now is because of Halo.

I do think playing as a faceless warrior seems to be very dated now. It only worked with Master Chef* for...I don't know why but it seemed to work.

*Yes it is deliberate.

I don't frankly care about how you word it. But trash is more harsh and definitive. If I said Console X's exclusive games were boring or underwhelming, that implies I didn't enjoy them. But if I outright call them trash then of course it going to make me look like a hater. It's not that difficult to comprehend.

Makes no sense, Destiny is a multiplatform game and I've never beaten a Halo game in my life. I have no reason to be a bungie hater, I just think the game looks trash, which is just MY opinion, I really could care less about being called a hater.

exactly my impression so far.

I love Bungie for creating the best gaming franchise of all time (IMO). And yeah, I am talking about Halo before some random funny guy jumps in.
I would not even care about Destiny if it wasn't a Bungie-game, because it looks sooo boring.
