I completely agree with this post and the best Nintendo can hope for is to defeat Mircosoft.

I also noticed that my local Wallmart had 5 or 6 WiiUs a couple days ago, and today they were all gone. I have two friends that got a WiiU in the last month in preparation for Mario Kart.

Edit: Also, the upcoming games poster had Mario Kart and its date circled with a thick red marker. Lots of people must be asking about it.

Well, Mario Kart is huge itself. Plus its still possible that Bayo2 and Hyrule warriors are summer releases. And I've crossed my fingers in hope that DQX All In One will release in the West with a E3 announcement.

Mario Kart won't give permanent boost to sales. Dunno if Bayo 2 can even give normal boost, probably will do same thing as 101 "did". Even Link's DW have better chances, but those games is for fans only.

Dunno if DQX even relevant at this point in the west...

Anyway, the only chance for WiiU to lead, is the first week of MK8 sales. Maybe 2nd too, but no more than that.

I'm so tired of hearing about the "fear" and "nervous(ness)" of the Sony fans. Get a grip. No one is scared or nervous.

If Mario Kart 8 boosts sells on consoles there is plenty in the WiiU library that can be picked up to hold someone over for a few months. Games like Pikmin 3, Tropical Freeze, 3D World and Lego city Undercover all having high 80's rating on metacritic. Then you have the free downloadable games, ZombieU,  Resident Evil: Revaltions d the Virual Console.

It appears this time we are again at the PS2 era sales figures.

Sonny is the obvious winner this console genration

Which means very storng sales for ps4 domination by sony

And significantly lower sales for Nintendo and Microsoft.

As i said before With strong titles and good marketing

Nintendo might have a chance for second place.

And were tired of dooooom thread, Sony is the best no one can beat us threads, and my favorite Nintendo should stop making consoles thread. Ever heard of thinking long term something Sony, Microsoft, and even Sega never do or did.

For people who bought, yes. But we talking about console sales, not software.

If those games where enough, why wouldn't people bought WiiU console with those "awesome" high-metacritic-scores-games?

And since when RE:Revelations is free? Or virtual console, those NES games is 10$ in my e-shop...
