Bayern needs Robben to defeat Barcelona.. hope its gonna be a great match.. Juventus is clearly the underdog.. but I wouldn't be surprised if they defeat Real.. Real needs to keep its head cool..

and it's really a dumb expression. How about "defending" lol

Because a team who is parking the bus gives up on playing static offense. If somehow they end in possession of the ball and the other team had time to position itself chances are it's gonna end up in a long pass to not lose their defensive stance.

They're defending not to get the ball quickly to keep attacking, but to stall the other team. They pretty much rely on mistakes of the other team (or the referee) to score.

This tactic is usually coupled with repetitive fouls to cancel any momentum the other team may build and piss off the other players, plus time-losing tricks if they score, depriving the mach of any fludity in the process.

Sounds like Catenaccio to me.

Thanks for the explanation. The term is being used more broadly tough. It really feels like I hear it every damn match now.

Catenaccio was assimilated by Portuguese coaches more so than any other nationalities.

Portuguese teams defend almost as good as Italian teams. That Porto fluke last Tuesday, was because we didn't have our world class Full backs and we replace them in the first half with 2 Center Backs. We paid dearly for it but until then we had the best defense in the CL.

2-1 Southampton!

2-2 in the end but we should have done more. No matter how hard Steven Davis has worked this season, he's having bad luck with finishing.

But luckily, Liverpool drew as well, so...

Hmm, pie.

Brilliant! Bournemouth practically a Premier League club now.

Should be good to see some south coast rivalry in the Premier League next year

I know right, us sitting down there on our own since Portsmouth ballsed things up. Plus, think of the money saved by both clubs as they don't have to travel far. :P

Hmm, pie.

Great game. Why is no one watching?

BVB still able to beat Bayern in Munich. Life is good.

Bayern's penalties lol. Hopefully Dortmund can win the cup. Would make their shitty year a lot better.

Anyone know anywhere where I can watch Bayern miss all their penalties?

Hmm, pie.
