Ridiculous. Unless a ref has numerous Champion League and Europa League games under his belt, he shouldn't even be allowed to carry the lightboard with numbers of substituted players there. Seriously, ref from outside of Europe are a disgrace. The Japanese yesterday, these dudes today, the refs from Ecuador a few years back that kicked Italy out of the tournament cause they were supporting South Korea. This is just ridiculous.

Experienced refs from Europe and video reviews - is it really that much?

This guy has already stole 2 goals from Mexico and missed the obvious yellow card for the elbow.
