Maybe England is better off playing the old way. Horrible to watch but at least it produced results.

So as it stands if Costa Rica beat or draw against Italy later England are out.

Italy needs to win both remaining games to give England a chance to beat CR.

Unlikely.

Once again the 2- 1 scoreline dominates.

They are usually consistent in qualifying matches. Same reason Switzerland and Greece are so high up the rankings.

Well, we got 28 points out of 10 matches in the World Cup qualifiers... 9 won, 1 draw.

Suarez is such a great player. Really hope Liverpool can build a squad good enough for CL.

The guy is fantastic. Just needs a team at his level.

No, just no. The old boring England didn't produce results at all, unless you consider getting knocked out at the Quarter Finals everytime a success. It's better to at least try playing some good football and failing then to be both crap and fail at the same time.

You cannot have a team at Suarez's level. That's impossible, you cannot find 10 other players like him.

The best you can do is build a very good team around him.

Have we see the same games? I think that England in both games lost becaus the Tifosi and the Urus were the better teams.


Bullcrap.

Vs Uruguay we had over 60% of the possession. We had more shots. More shots on target. We were the better team, we just lacked in finishing.

Uruguay won because Suarez latched on to a stupid error from Gerrard. Suarez is literally one of the best in the world. They didnt win because they were a better team. They won because they got the lucky bounce/ error from SG.
