Oh man. Germany destroyed Portugal. I fully expected them to win, but at least I thought Portugal would have a chance. Finally one of the favorites shows why they are a favorite to win this World Cup. Great times!

Indeed. Germany was far superior to us in every aspect and we would have lost the match no matter what.

Coentrao's injury is extremely bad for us. I hope it isn't anything serious, but if he did tore up his muscle, then he's out of this WC for good. Pepe's red card is bad too, but Ricardo Costa can do a good job, but i'm not so confident about Andre Almeida subbing Coentrao.
Hope he proves me wrong though.

Let's not get ahead. Ghana and US aren't Germany. It's certainly easier to score against them and their offence isn't what a team without Pepe couldn't handle. With the right mindset the next 2 games might be a walk in the park for them.
Also don't forget Germany as the master of blackouts. One game their the most confident mutherfuckers and the next they're shivering piles of nerves that won't get a single pass right.
Let's just hope Hummels is alright. Without him our defense might fall apart.
