Doesn't have that Premier League premium. It's a lot more expensive for english teams to buy players because they know the clubs have the money to pay it.

James costing Bayern 45 million whereas it would cost a team like City 70 million+.

Recently, even though it was between 2 prem clubs, Bournemouth signed someone for £20mil.... Bournemouth. Saints record signing is £16mil and I still think that's a lot. Prem money may have gone up but so have wages and prices of players. Clubs are no richer but player and their agents are. :P

Hmm, pie.

Didn't Real buy him for 70m+ though? Wasn't Higuain to Juve around 70m as well?

So, maybe not just a Premier League premium. Good deal for Bayern though!

You know Real and Barca aren't in the same boat as the rest of Europe. They's filthy rich.

Hmm, pie.

Nouri update: CT-scan and some neurological exams show no damage to the brain, but he's still being kept asleep. Docters want to wake him up gradually over the next 24 hours after which they can exam his brain functions further and better. Next update expected Wednesday evening.

Yeah they did and they were 'worth' that price then.

If James had the same amount of gametime he did last season at chelsea, do you really think Madrid would pay 70 million for him?
Higuain is a bonafied superstar and always scores a stupid number of goals, that's no where near the same situation as Rodriguez.

Bayern Munich's record transfer signing is £35 million, freaking Pickford cost £30 million.

I think it was closer to 90.

Anyway Juve have done well, I remember some seasons ago they built one of the most competitive squads in europe and they didn't have to pay much.

Vidal was like 12m, Pirlo and Pogba free, and I don't remember Tevez but I guess he was pretty cheap when they got him

Apparently we signed Lacasweat. I haven't watched much ligue 1 so don't have an opinion about him but I've heard he's good. At least he's superb in FIFA 😁

ummm.....?

In Fifa all the sweaty pacewhore kids used him :P And no, my football knowledge isn't based in FUT hehe. Anyway, hot signing and I can't wait to see him play.

If James Rodriguez played for Chelsea but only played 22 games, even if he scored 10 goals in them, would he fetch a 70 mil price tag? I think that's what he's saying. Answer is no.

Unfortunately, Abdelhak Nouri has suffered severe and permanent brain damage. A big part of his brain is no longer functioning and the chances of recovery of these crucial brain functions is close to 0.
