Both are still world cup winners, regardless. |
We're talking about coaches and Dunga never got to that level.
Scolari was/is a horrible coach, same as Dunga.

Feel bad for the Italians! They took on the mighty Germans with a brave team display but came up short.
Can't believe so many penalties were missed and that buffon missed the last one :(
I fancy Germany to make the final now.
France v Iceland tomorrow. Don't expect Iceland to have a fair referee but I still think they've a fighting chance!

eh, just an excuse. People say Spain try and play the same way as Barcelona, but Barcelona actually make a lot of chances, score plenty of goals and always look dangerous. If Barcelona can still play good offensive football when the opposition plays 8-1-1 formations there's no reason Spain couldn't do the same if they actually wanted to. |

I admired Italy this time around. No world-class players, no decent strikers or play makers. It felt like Conte put together a bunch of amatures and taught them how to play like a team. They knocked out Spain and almost knocked out Germany, and in both cases, Buffon helped a lot XD
Excited to see what Conte will do at Chelsea next season.

Leichester 2.0, now that the German curse is over, it's time for the UK champion coach curse :p
But now seriously tell me what's up with Zaza ? I haven't seen the match but I know he once played in the team of a city nearby where I live...

We are? No, you are. |
Exactly I said they can't, which means present. We all know Dunga is a not a player anymore.

A nobody, really. He plays for Juve now and he scored some goals this season. I don't know how he made it to the national team, but I guess Italy has been severely lacking talent for years. Conte decided to send him in at minute 120, just so that he could help with the penalties, and he missed his shot.
I blame Conte to be honest, you just don't make that kind of sub unless you are sending in someone with talent and vast experience like Del Piero.
I remember Anelka going through a similar experience with Chelsea, they were playing against MAN U, the champions league finale, he was sub'ed in at minute 120 and missed the penalty and it cost Chelsea the title.
@Luke888:
I thought your team could've won tonight if they had Inzaghi lol, so many dangerous crosses with no one to take advantage of them. Inzaghi had an eye for those kind of passes.
