If Scolari or Dunga can't show you guys football, why not try a Canadian?

Both of them won world cups, tho...

2002 team could've won the world with any one on the helm. Dunga won the WC as a player, cause as a coach he's a 0.

The italy players are fucking horrible at this. Juat horrible, is like they just shoot and pray in enters xD

???

And the Germany players arent?

Germany deserved it more. Italy doesnt know how to play offensively. Sure, they're efficient, but they cant hope that they're one and only shot on target goes in.

I couldn't recognize half (or more) the players in the Italian squad, and for good reasons. I think they did ok in this tournament, Conte couldn't ask for more XD

The curse... it's... it's... broken. I might shed a tear. :'-)

Told you so a few days ago.

At least we know now what's stronger. The Italy curse or the penalty blessing.

Now off to lose to France because Hummels is banned.

I'd like to read Ryng Tolu's input.

WTF was up with that penalty shootout? So many misses!

Both teams were nervous in front of Neuer or Buffon.

Both Italy and Germany were terrible during the penalities but Germany deserved to win.

This Euro is on track to fulfill a ten-year-streak of offense winning championships. While Scisca would like us to believe otherwise, a defensive playstyle hasn't won a cup since 2006 (Italy, World Cup).

Will Scisca return to this thread? I think he is too busy playing FIFA.

Don't forget the record streak of reaching semis in 7 consecutive cups. Talk about consistency.

But... Spain....

...Spain? Are you trying to say that they were/are defensive?

Easy with the beer. In 2004 you didn't even beat Latvia, so you didn't come close to the semifinals.

I'm counting the next WC you silly.

Yes, definitely. They play a horribly boring defensive style of football.

They have a lot of possession yes, but they don't use it to score goals, they use it to prevent the other team from having the ball/scoring goals, ie. defensive play. It was especially bad those times when the manager decided not to even play a striker. Just hope their next manager plays a better style of football.

Defensive style is what Italy plays and Spain doesn't play nothing like that.

Boring is relative when it comes to style of play. Spain's style was the most cerebral since Barcelona's and I appreciate that because it takes an insane amount of talent to dominate opponents that much.
