When are the draws for the semi?

Friday lunchtime, IIRC the Europa semi draw is right after it as well.

hmmm... i wonder if it will be magicaly be Atletico vs Real and Bayern vs Man City so the EUFA can prevent an all spanish final..

I'd love to see Atelt kicking out RM next!

Barca's next match is against Valencia, time to give up the La Liga as well

I knew Barca were going to get knocked out when they only won the first leg by one goal, A.Madrid are defensive monsters and have shut them out numerous times they were going to keep a clean sheet at home.

If someone could defend like that against barca it was atlético. It was a penalty, but to be fair Suárez should have been sent off for that elbow to godin, and Iniesta is debatable but it wouldn't have been crazy to give him a red card

Great goal by Vidal, hope him or Pellegrini win

I'm just glad we got Vidal. Don't think we'd even get past Juve without him.

Barcelona out is okay by me, City have a chance against all... but Barca.

I dunno, on Barca's current form maybe they would have had a chance against them

I'm thinking more of the Barcelona curse English clubs have. They seem to think that just because they are Barcelona and they will have the possession, while trying to get the ball to Messi, that it's okay to fall back and defend constantly. But because of this they slip up and let goals in. They are afraid to tackle Messi because of what he could do, not what he can.

Yet against other clubs in Europe, our teams play more like they are playing at in the Prem... okay not a great thing considering all the best team that were in the Champions League this season aren't in the top 2 but still you know what I mean.

Hmm, pie.

I think it's because some of them just go out and play Barcelona and try to beat them in their own game, at least I've seen that with city, arsenal and manchester united. Chelsea, who actually beat them, played extreme defense and it went well, just like atlético and inter.

Another factor is that they simply are above any team in premier today, which doesn't mean they can't beat them in an off day. Thing is, you give them space and they can play better.

So, my favourite teams, Barça and PSG, are out! :P. I just can't stand Atletico, they're really, really boring to see (sorry, Atletico fans, it's just my way of seeing football...). So, I'll support Bayern to win the Champions then.

I get ya, although not sure they are. All teams have their day, so to speak. I mean, Chelsea are (on paper) better than nearly every team in the prem and well you know how that has gone.

Eitherway, with Barcelona out, it makes for more interesting viewing from a neutral. Never liked watching Barcelona play football, I find the style very dull.

I don't know, I'm a neutral viewer and I lost interest in the Champions League without Barça and PSG. The only teams I find fun to see is Bayern or Manchester City right now, so I hope that'll be the semi-final. Madrid-Atletico could be fun just because it's a local derby, though, so I hope that'll be the definitive semi-finals.
