Ok ive seen a thread or two doing the rounds about how Nintendo can turn things around with Wii U. You then get the usual "it will never happen", "Wii U is doomed" etc. but i do believe modest sales and success can be achieved. Sales in the region of 20-25 million a la Gamecube are not an impossible feat, even after the disastrous start Wii U has had. Mario Kart 8 seems to have created a buzz among gamers which will hopefully help shift units, but its almost as pleasing to see how a few screenshots and snippets of Hyrule Warriors has caused a stir, especially in Japan. The digital direct will hopefully show off some interesting exclusives which have good gamepad use, a killer Zelda U trailer and throw up a surprise or two was well. Nintendo could very well end this gen on a positive note, most importantly be profitable, have a great library of exclusive games and have momentum going into the next gen. Its not great coming off the back of the mega successful Wii, but its not all doom and gloom. What are your thoughts?
