I only started playing God of War when i got a PS3 (purchased all the games now and Hd versions :) - I love it, and don't feel as jaded as other players on the franchise.

I love the style, but I think a different setting is required, though if it was the same, I would still buy it.

What really impressed me wasn't the game graphics as great as they were.

It was the gameplay.

It was revolutionary for it's time.

Amazing game.

I also didn't know much about that game in the beginning.
Game Spot gave the game 9.3 score so i said to myself let's try it.
This game should be good.
Actually It deserves higher score :)

Why?

Mario Franchise exist for over 30 years.

God of war Franchise is less then 10 years old.

The developers still have many stories to tell.

Many ideas they can take the game into.

God Of War has just begun.

?? Proof??? Please a new GOW in a  brand new setting on PS4 would be big, stop the hyperbole.

Maybe if Kratos focuses his rage on a different mythology, like Persian it could work, because there really isn't much left for him to destroy in the Greek tradition. He's already killed all the major gods and most of the ancillary ones including the Titans, defeated its greatest heroes outside of those from the Trojan War (which could be an interesting setting, but I dunno), not only defied but killed destiny in the sisters of fate, hell he's beaten the furies twice, once a physical manifestation of the traditionally esoteric furies in Erinys, and then the furies more seen in drama in the sisters from Ascension. They were already scraping the bottom of the barrel with the psp games and ascension, there's really no where else to go within the confines of Greek mythos at this point.
