Next generation sales have drop like a rock. PS4 is eating dust from Wii first spring and starting to fallow behing 360´s avarage years.

So much bull, if ps4 had 5 straight bad months it would still be way ahead of last gen, vgchartz is not right..ever. PS4 will pick up with watchdogs and will be big in the fall with destiny and a lot of games coming, only thing dropping like a rock is x1.

Wii was a phenominom that brought in no gamers.......it dropped like a rock after the fad ended, ps4 won;'t and will outsell wii lifetime.

Hilarious how doom sayers take 1 month with zero releases in the slowest time of year, to say sales are dropping, DUH, they always do when there are zero games ina  slow month, still massive sales for ps4, that are going to pick up again.

I didnt only read the first lines, I just quoted those lines as that was what i was replying to. And I wasn't saying that you were insinuating sales parity with the PS4 if XBO was in more countries, just used your post as an opportunity to reply to all those people who seem to think XBO in more countries would be that much of a difference. And wanted to point out that nothing stops them from releasing or having released in more territories if they felt it would have been better for them.

Anyways, someone else said that kinect localization was the hinderance.... thast just MS PR too. kinect is just a bonus, and MS knows that... its also a bonus that is all software, nothing stops MS from releasing XBO in those territories with limited kinect functionality for now and then given them full support with a software update down the road.

Would you pay more for a feature that dosen´t work properly on your own language?

Considering how bad people talking of Kinect, even with 90% of accuracy, imagine how good it would look if it is release with "limited functionality".

It needs to be 100%, and it adds nothing, voice can be done without kinect. Vocie does not add anything we cannot already do, it is just an alternate method, the gimmick is not worth the price.

Whats wrong with people these days? Lets apply some common sense here.

As of january the PS4 has sold 3ml consoles worldwide. Now we are in may. let sveen call it the end of may. 

Between january and today sony has sold over 4.5ml PS4s. That is 5 months. 4.5/5= 900,000.

That means that the PS4 is selling an average right now of 900k every month. And that to you is "dropped like a rock?"

At the rate its going, even if it has 4 more months of sub 500k a month sales, then rallies during the holiday season like consoles always do..it will still be on track for a 800k a month average. at least. This is all common sense. That you seem hell bent on ignoring for what reason i have no idea.

Dark Feanor is too busy trying to spin everything against ps4 to use logic and math.

He didn´t say it would be avarage with hollydays, but a rate that would cary for this summer. He said the damand would still be there and the first months were limited by the shortages.

anyway to adress the numbers there the ps4 sold 4.4 million in november and december 2013 its currently at 7.6 that is 3.2 million consoles in 2014 including the japanese launch @ 330k thus 3 million/5 months is the real pace.
