I'm not a fan of the really young link from wind waker and some of the other games, but definitely like the other links over the 20 year or so looking link.

Mainly though its the gameplay aspect that matters more. What turned me off of games like wind waker was the entire atmosphere of whimsy and childlike gameplay of which I am not a fan of at all. LoZ: 1-2, LTTP, etc were mostly 'serious' gameplay with rare splashes of comedy. When the style diverged from that, I was turned off from the series.

Also 3D, never been a fan of that move.

I dunno, I doubt ill ever like any new zelda again given the track record of the last several games.

So playing as a grown man in an adventure game is comparable to a grown man in chucky cheese and watch my little pony? You realise how stupid that sounds? It's your opinion in liking young Link better and obviously you're the minority. Ask anyone who has ever played OoT which verison they like better and almost everytime they'll say adult link. Why do you think Twilight Princess was vastly successful compared to Wing Waker?

Aonuma doesn't give a flying shit about any of that. He'll make the game how he want's and fans will deal with it, hence WW, SS, and his recent comments about Zelda U's completely new art direction that explicitely confirm it'll be absolutely nothing like TP, the tech demo, or OoT. And with the new popularity of ALBW and WWHD, and the high demand for MM3D, I doubt he'd be worried at all about making a new game starring young Link in a bright and beautiful world, the way it's supposed to be.

I honestly don't give shit whether he's a kid or an adult since i'll be playing it anyways. All i'm saying is I prefer adult Link and so do most of the people on this site.

TWP is a great game, and gave fans exactly what they wanted (unlike WW and SS) - unfortunately, I sincerely doubt Aonuma will listen to common sense and sales figures.

Kinda funny watching a child defeating seasoned monsters and evil warriors. For the sake of plausibility and badassery, adult link is better.

Couldn't you come up with better reasons? Those are pretty embarrassing, and I write this as someone who is not ashamed to go shopping in the nude.

I think things to me switched up from game to game to keep it interesting. We need adult Link just as much as we need child Link. And female Link.

Also, a few of those pictures you're calling child Link are actually adult Link. Just different art styles. Remember, adult Link is still only a stupid 18 year old kid.
