If hyrule warriors is not hyped then why does the hyrule thread have so many posts?

Because there is not much else to talk about at the moment, MK8 is out next week but we already had the review threads, Bayonetta 2 is a summer game but no new info has come out, Smash for Wii U comes till winter, and E3 is around the corner so the companies are not sharing much, and the lack of 3rd party games makes the info for the console even less, we could be talking about the new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight, but is not comming for the Wii U and... you got the drill.

Honestly I think that watch dogs is the first true 3rd party next gen game to be released

i disagree actually. tomb raider complete edition is much more next gen.

isn't that an HD port??? that's crazy talk the only next gen about an HD port would improved graphics...

Thief and wolfenstein have come out already, but I haven't played them and from what I've seen Thief didn't push the boundries on anything.

Watch dogs seems like the first AAA title on the next gen consoles to actually push gameplay further...

perhaps I'm expecting to much of it though... could be horrible

its the best graphics on the console. graphics defines next gen. thats why wii u isnt next gen, because of graphics.

I'm gonna say FFXV as well. From the wonderful conversations I've had with people about this they are expecting WAY to much. They're saying it's completely open World when there is absolutely nothing that supports that. No map on screen, very few open areas shown, ect. Also people think that the teleportation is gonna be a transportation device of sorts. It's only been shown to move linearly across floating objects and traveling short distances in combat.

That coupled with the return of only controlling one character in the party, and a lingering feeling of lack of customization like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XIII, it's shaping up to be a huge disappointment.

Oh, people saying X, I would like to hear the reasoning in that choice.

Wait, I thought this thread was about which games will be a dissapointment critically. Isn't being overrated contridictory to being a disappointment?

It is about that, we went a little off topic, I was just responding to him because he pointed out something different.

PS4 - The Order: 1886
X1 - Sunset Overdrive
Wii U - Hyrule Warriors

Titanfall will go down as this generations biggest dud. I've never seen another game come along where the media proclaims it as something that's going to change the way we THINK about games, and then....nothing. It's absolutely without equal imo.

Kinect?

Well, Kinect is an accessory so, that's not really a fair comparison.
