Last year at E3 2013, Shu Yoshida mentioned that they had over 30 ps4 titles in development at worldwide studios out of which 12 are brand new IP, and also out of those 30 games 20 were planned to be released in the first year of the PS4.

So we have 19 games, some of them released and other have 2014 release window, out of these 9 are FP studios and rest 10 are out sourced by Sony and SM. So my real question what qualifies as these 20 games from world wide studios, the games that are under development or developed at the Sony own studios or does it include the games that Sony are out sourcing and publishing?

Are those SOE games part of WWS? I really wonder what he ment with WorldWide Studios. Did he include studios like Housemarque or not? Did he include SOE? So many questions.

So games like H1Z1, Planetside 2 and DCUO aren't part of the 20 titles!

Anything that sony makes/publishes or both. Be it 1st or 2nd party. Falls under worldwide studios.

I don't think SOE games fall under worldwide studios though. Strange.

I'm actually impressed. I was expecting "worldwide studios" to be PR speak for all exclusive games, not just those developed in house. 

A) I wanted to make this thread, but after E3 so Sony still has a chance.
B) A direct quote of his words would be good, cause you'll have to scratch like 7 of those games of the list
C) I'm pretty sure they won't live up to that promise

some are probably japanese games which we will never see.
I bet uncharted trilogy is coming to PS4 as well, maybe they count those as 3 if they are being sold seperately on the digital store.

if we dont include SOE titles, then PS4 only has 7 titles from WWS. 13 more to go, now thats a tough challenge

yes out of 30, u can include them.. But what i meant was 20 titles which Yoshida said Sony has planned to release in PS4 first year.. and i dont think the games u mentioned will release in 2014
