$799 is for i3 Core Porcessor, 4Gb of RAM, and 64GB of STORAGE..    not 4GB of STORAGE.     

Still expensive..  Should be around $599 at most.

No need to read again.It is wrong.. I watched the announcment.. and you can look at EVERY single report on it.. its 64GB..   4Gb doesn't even fit Windows 8.1..  come on..

Well that needs to be changed in the OP then.

I presumed they were advertising that as available space post OS install.

I dont see this working. People usually want something small like an iPad Mini to take with them on the go as well as a full on lap top for when they need to do serious work. That seems to be the combo most people have settled on.

The suface pro isnt as portable as the mini and its not as good as a laptop priced similarly...i dont see this turning the fortunes of surface around.

Too expensive, Microsoft should try to make cheaper models that people can afford.
